I'm an engineering major and I needed to take a social science class, so I took Psychology 101. The course was online, so I had to rely on the book for pretty much everything. I haven't taken any other course like this, and my only idea about psychology was what I've gotten from tv. The book was easy to follow, key terms are highlighted and other important terms are italicized. I could understand what information was deemed important, and the graphics were useful in gaining more insight to what was being taught.The chapters are arranged in a logical order, and there are useful charts that convey important information in each chapter section. I think that I've learned the basics of psychology from this book. Personally, I wouldn't seek this book out, but for a textbook, I thought that it was well written.

Very informative and nicely organized.
this was an amazing deal.
I have no complaints. I would order again. But, last session my community college got smart. Now they are putting a code in the books they sell on campus and you must have it to use in class. The professor would not give me the code. So make sure you check that out first.

This book is very easy to follow, well organized, and highlights the most relevant and important information. Like most well written textbooks, it has very good organization as well as practice tests to ensure that you have learned and retained the most important facts. I would highly recommend this.
I got this book for my psych class and it is in perfect condition like they said. However it lost a star due to the fact that it didn't contain the access code for the online resources. While it wasn't required for my class it would be nice to have them. I also can find no way to buy online access from the company without buying another book which I wont be doing. To summarize great book saved me tons of money but it said it had the code and it does not.
